What to include
For a content correction, include the page URL, the statement at issue, and an official source or other supporting reference. For an accessibility issue, describe the page, device or browser, and the difficulty you encountered. For a privacy request, use “Privacy Request” in the subject line and identify the information involved without initially sending sensitive identity documents.
Keep sensitive records private
Send only what is needed for the inquiry. Do not email unredacted Social Security numbers, passwords, complete medical files, or private military or claims records. If a document is necessary, ask about an appropriate way to provide it before sending it.
